Canta-autor mexicano Alfonso Maya estará en BAMM Latino el 15 de Julio a las 8:00pm gracias a La Bohemia Productions.
Alfonso Maya es cantante de trova que mescla géneros como el jazz, rock, bossa y blues, que tiene una voz como de balada. Sus melodías infecciosas y lírica poética, han encontrado su casa en muchos corazones alrededor del mundo.
Maya a tocado en muchos escenarios en todo México y ha tenido la oportunidad de presentarse en España, Guatemala, Puerto Rico y los Estados Unidos. Fue llevado, en el 2006, a participar en el festival musical de Asia central (Central Asian Music Festival) que aconteció ese año en Astana, Kazakhstan, donde ganó un premio por mejor arreglo de una canción. Tienes dos discos en el mercado: Giros y Giros (2001) and Tarot (2004). Actualmente está trabajando en el tercero.
En este mes, Alfonso Maya va a estar de gira en la costa del oeste, apareciendo en ciudades como Portland, Oregon; San Jose, California; y la casa central de BAMM.tv, San Francisco, California. Él estará en Coda Jazz Supper Club el 18 de Julio, pero antes lo podrán encontrar en vivo en nuestro estudio a través del internet el 15 de Julio. Mexican singer and song-writer Alfonso Maya will be performing at BAMM Latino on July 15th at 8:00pm thanks to La Bohemia Productions.
Alfonso Maya is a trova singer who fuses genres like jazz, rock, bossa and blues, who’s voice sounds like ballads are his calling. His infectious melodies and poetic lyrics have found it’s home in many hearts around the world.
Maya has performed in stages throughout Mexico and has had the opportunity to have shows in Spain, Guatemala, Puerto Rico and The United States. He was flown to participate in the 2006 Central Asian Music Festival, which was held that year in Astana, Kazakhstan where he won the award for best song arrangement. He has released two CD’s: Giros y Giros(2001) and Tarot (2004). He is currently at work on his third album.
In this month, Alfonso Maya will be touring the West Coast, touching cities like Portland, Oregon; San Jose, Calfornia; and BAMM.tv’s home base, San Francisco, California.
